The Daycare Program for the Santee Sioux Nation is designed as a voucher program to assist income Native American families to meet their needs for affordable and quality child care. Eligible families will receive a percentage of their child paid by this program using a sliding fee scale based on income and family size once the family’s percentage is paid to the provider.

The Santee Sioux Nation Food Distributions Program’s main purpose is to provide food and nutrition education for unemployed, low-income families living on the Santee Indian Reservation, and Native American families living in the remaining near area of Knox County, Nebraska.

The Human Resource Director serves directly in the tribal office and will provide guidance on human resources to all the Tribes Government Programs and Employees.

The duties of the Procurement Officer are to oversee the ordering, storing, receiving and distributing process of the Santee Sioux Nation products and supplies. The Procurement Officer controls the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking analyzing inventory, and developing protocols for loss mitigation. The Procurement Officer utilizes a tagging system for all major items purchased and received by the tribal programs.
Provides meals for the Santee Sioux Nation elderly and disabled.
Santee Utilities is proud to be a tribally focused, owned utility providing reliable, safe, environmentally, friendly, water, and sewer services to our people.
It’s an education department that provides higher education scholarships to the Santee Sioux Nation tribal members.
Environmental Protection Department of the Santee Sioux Nation is to promote, maintain and protect the health of the water, land, and air within the Santee Sioux Reservation to ensure the continued health and welfare of its Tribal members and culturally relevant plants and animals.
