The Daycare Program for the Santee Sioux Nation is designed as a voucher program to assist income Native American families to meet their needs for affordable and quality child care. The duties of the Procurement Officer are to oversee the ordering, storing, receiving and distributing process of the Santee Sioux Nation products and supplies. The Procurement Officer controls the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking analyzing inventory, and developing protocols for loss mitigation. The Procurement Officer utilizes a tagging system for all major items purchased and received by the tribal programs.
